Hallucinating smell

Last weekend I was talking to my sister about our old neighborhood in NYC and she mentioned the shoe maker around the corner. Wow! I immediately smelled the leather. Hermes/Mercury/Angels

I do like the concept of the lesser gods and their messenger functions. Hermes was such a messenger for the Greeks and the Romans adopted Mercury.
