Re: Does Jaynes have a Neurological Model of Consciousness?

I'll be following that thread, hoping that someone brings an answer to the question! Right now, I'm waiting for The Origin of Consciousness, which is taking some time to arrive, but, at least, I've got Julian Jaynes' articles on hand.

Re: A Complete List of References to Jaynes in Film and Fiction

Oh, so I wasn't mistaken when I had "flashbacks" of the Golden Compass when browsing the forum and reading about the bicameral mind theory... I'm glad it wasn't a random misconception, and I'll make sure to check out every mentioned book I haven't read yet!

Re: Videos

That's quite an interesting project, I sadly don't have the opportunity to look for copies of these recordings, but I would love to see them available some day. However, I could subtitle them in French and Russian, should there be a need for it!

Re: Welcome / Introductions

Hello JJS, I'm a newcomer to the forum, on which I registered because I have recently stumbled upon Julian Jayne's bicameralism theory, and my attention was caught since the first lines I've read. It echoes many of the observations my wife and I have had during our careers (she's a university profes...
