What does the term 'aptic' and/or 'aptic structure' mean?

What does the term 'aptic' and/or 'aptic structure' mean?

I Just want to have the question answered in a understandable way. The few intents of explanations I found were not very clear.

Does Jaynes' aptic structures sound something similar to Rupert Sheldrake's morphic resonances?

I think morphic resonance is more in line with energy transferred between organisms rather than a structure in the brain which is inherited. :idea: Maybe morphic resonance is produced from an aptic structure.
