Best Translation of Homer's Iliad

Jaynes points to Homer's Iliad as an example of a story about and by pre-conscious people. There are a number of different translations. I suspect some are more faithful to the original than others. I was hoping for a recommendation on the one that best illustrates what Jaynes was pointing to. Any suggestions?

Never mind--I found it here: https://www.julianjaynes.org/resources/ ... tory-note/

Should'a looked around a bit before asking!

A.T. Murray's version is good too.
