Dear Members and Friends of the Julian Jaynes Society,

We’re currently hard at work finishing up our latest book, Conversations on Consciousness and the Bicameral Mind, due out this fall. Please stay tuned…

New this month, read the latest blog posts from Brian McVeigh: “Putting Julian Jaynes’s Theory to the Test” and “The Presence of an Absent Father.”

And new this month for members: Watch Dr. Dirk Corsten’s lecture “The Origins of Voices” and a rare documentary on the brain featuring Julian Jaynes. Also: New articles and dissertations on hearing voices, language and consciousness, split-brain research, and more.

Finally, please join us on Thursday, July 8th for the next installment of the Julian Jaynes Society Interview Series, where we’ll be speaking with Professor William Woodward on Julian Jaynes’s life.

Sincerely,

Marcel Kuijsten,
Executive Director
