Iris Sommer: I’m a Professor of Psychiatry and I’m also a psychiatrist. I have a very nice job combining clinical work with scientific work — I think it’s very nice doing them both together. My group has concentrated on the pathophysiology of auditory verbal hallucinations, or hearing voices.
